Sterling Iron Filter

Mr. Goodwater is a multigenerational family business that helps homeowners throughout Northern Illinois enjoy clean, clear, and fresh water. If you are tired of scrubbing orange rust stains out of your sinks, tubs, and toilets, an iron filter from our team can remove the iron that causes those stubborn marks. Many families who rely on private wells also notice a metallic taste or a reddish tint in their water, and a properly sized iron filter is one of the most effective ways to solve that problem for good. Our strong commitment to quality components and expert installation is what distinguishes us from our local competition, and it is the reason so many homeowners trust us with their water.

Sterling, Illinois is home to nearly 15,000 residents and sits along the north bank of the Rock River, directly across from its twin city of Rock Falls. The city once earned the nickname “Hardware Capital of the World” thanks to the many manufacturers that called it home. One of the most popular landmarks in town is the Dillon Home Museum, an Italianate house built in 1858 for Civil War General Edward Kirk and later owned by P.W. Dillon, the longtime president of Northwestern Steel and Wire. Visitors can also explore the Sinnissippi Mounds, a group of ancient burial mounds left by the Hopewell culture nearly 2,000 years ago.

Mr. Goodwater proudly serves the Sterling area and beyond, bringing the same level of care to every home we visit. We custom design and engineer each iron filter to meet our customers’ individual requirements, so your system is built around the exact water conditions in your home. Whether your home in Sterling runs on a private well or city water with high iron levels, our team will take the time to understand the problem and recommend the right equipment. With a high-quality iron filter from Mr. Goodwater, you can finally say goodbye to rust stains and enjoy water that looks, smells, and tastes the way it should.
