Minooka Water Softener

Mr. Goodwater is a multigenerational, family-owned water treatment company that has been servicing Northern Illinois for over 25 years. We help homeowners on private wells who struggle with rusty or smelly water, along with families on city water who are tired of chalky spots and scale buildup. If you are searching for a water softener that truly fits your home, our team will design and engineer a system around your specific water conditions. Every water softener we install is built with quality, made-in-the-USA products and set up by trained professionals who take pride in their work. Our strong commitment to quality components and expert installation is what distinguishes us from our local competition.

Minooka, Illinois is a growing village of nearly 13,000 residents that stretches across three counties, Grundy, Kendall, and Will. The name Minooka is often said to come from a Native American word meaning “good earth,” which fits a community with deep farming roots and wide open prairie. The village celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2019, and it has grown steadily from a small railroad stop into a popular place for families to settle. A short drive south of town, the historic Aux Sable Creek Aqueduct still carries the Illinois and Michigan Canal over the creek, drawing hikers and cyclists along the canal trail.

Mr. Goodwater proudly serves the Minooka area and beyond, and homeowners in Minooka can start with a FREE in-home water quality test followed by a FREE quote. From there, we build a water softener that matches your exact needs, and if you are not ready to purchase, we can usually rent you a system instead. A quality water softener does far more than protect your plumbing. It can lower your water heating bill by up to 30%, extend the life of your water heater, and help keep your pipes from clogging, so your home runs better and costs less to maintain for years to come.
